State Coordinator Mecklenburg Western Pomerania
"Political participation should not begin with the right to vote, but with the willingness to become active; after all, our future is at stake."
Jenny was born on the island of Usedom and also attended school there. Participation of students and young people has always been a matter of concern to her. Elected as student representative by the student council in 10th grade, she gained experience at all levels of student representation during the rest of her school career as vice chair of her district and state student council and general secretary of the federal student conference. After finishing school, she moved to Rostock and is now studying social sciences here, while continuing to be involved in the support associations of the respective student councils and in her state association of the "Junge Union" as deputy chairwoman. Through her work in the initiative, she hopes to give youth a voice and promote political education at an early age.
